One of the benefits of Zamak (also called zinc) die casting is that it is easier to cast more detailed parts than with aluminium die casted parts. It offers several surface finishing options and is easy to polish and grind. Zamak has lower operating temperatures than aluminum die-cast alloys. It maintains high dimensional stability even with thin walls, making it suitable for use in all industries.
In general, the well-known Zamak 3 alloy is used for die casting, but Zamak 5 is also one of the standards we know.
